At Vivacity Healing we will work together to create the treatment plan that works best for you
AcuDetox & Auricular Stimulation
Auricular stimulation is a form of acupressure that can be used to help treat the symptoms of anxiety, stress, ADHD, depression, PTSD, insomnia, fatigue and cravings of all types. It helps to heal and detoxify the body. We use a light electrical pulse to stimulate pressure points on the outer ear that channels the body’s natural energy in a way that releases endorphins, calms the central nervous system and enhances the efficacy of the body’s detoxifying organs.
AcuDetox is a form of auricular therapy that utilizes the 5-point NADA acupuncture protocal in each ear to alleviate the pain and suffering associated with opioid withdrawal. It can also be used to alleviate the symptoms of post-acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS) including irritability, anxiety, depression, poor sleep, restlessness, fatigue, agression and emotional flatness. AcuDetox is a great tool for relapse prevention, as well, helping to reducing the frequency and intensity of cravings and reducing the impact of stress, the #1 cause of relapse. Electrostimulation, acupressure/ear reflexology and/or ear seeds can be used instead of the needles. The ear seeds can be used as a stand-alone treatment, however it is recommended that it's used in conjunction with another form of auricular stimulation.
Refelxology is an adjunct treatment that helps to balance the bodies natural energy which helps the brain and body to heal faster from the negative effects of susbance use. Reflexology treats PAWS, reduces fatigue, stress, anxiety, depression, and irritability by allieviating energy blockages in different organs of he body thus allowing energy to flow freely. Reflexology also improves circulation thus improving the flow of oxygen and essential nutrients to all areas of the body, hence increasing the rate of healing and recovery.

Group cousneling is a powerful process that most people find intimidating at first. We tend to think about group counseling as sitting in a circle and spilling our beans to a room full of strangers. Group counseling can be a very personal experince, but it happens at the rate of your readiness. It's a supportive, non-intimidating, non-confrontational enviroment where each individual will be safe and supported in their journey. It's a place where anonymity is always respected, opinions and struggles are welcomed and the individual is empowered by the strength of the group.
